and the most economical, surely the most economical way of claiming space, in the shadow of yet clearly more efficient and economical, both cooler and kinder than the billionaire race of rockets and cocks leaving chemtrails in the sky above and losers and followers below
and the uneven number of three pieces covered – against their will or despite their ignorance or both of the above and more – with epoxy and folded not to disappear relatively but to expand, to grow in it, claim it, steer it
too big they became and claimed too much of it, too much space to fit into the borrowed car, stuffed instead they were into a Mover and shipped by road and petrol and venture capital to their temporary home
a shelter, a halfway house of sorts, a makeshift short-term interim yet homely habitat for the month of September, the final month of happy carelessness before a world of downtown galleries and grown-ups and group shows and the money and the crowds
but before this the end game and final breaths of a fleeting youth spent lounging in the living room doing not much for a little longer, just a little longer, and then thrown out on the street to surely and inevitably hit the centre
